As voted for by Wild Ink workshoppers, we are continuing on our bookish theme from February and into the spring with a special focus on bookshops! Where I live in the UK, there are a range of beautifully wonky bookshops all of which have creatively curated windows. Their frontages and signs are so full of colour and I'm longing to draw from them! There will be a range of images available from bookshops throughout the Cotswolds to sketch from but please do feel free to sketch from your own references...maybe your local bookshop would appreciate a portrait!

During this class I will share two approaches to drawing shop fronts using watercolour paint and coloured pencils...one method focuses on shapes and the other is line.

You could sketch single shops or join your drawings up to create a homemade highstreet full of bookshops...maybe a bakery would be a nice addition too!?

What do I get when I buy?

  • You will receive a Zoom link, materials list and printable downloads the morning before the class.
  • A recording of the class will be sent out the following day. You don't need to be there live and can watch the workshop in your own time
  • Unlimited access. After the live event, the recording will be added to your Wild Ink library. You can create an account with this free Winter Tree Workshop
